Be prepared to be swept away on a time-travel extravaganza celebrating the adventures of old west bad-man "Soapy" Smith, "king of the frontier con men." With his gracious sense of humor, unbridled enthusiasm, and keen expertise, Jeff Smith shares the history, stories, and lore of his great-grandfather, by way of historical first-person demonstrations, photograph projection, a traveling museum of Soapy's authentic artifacts & letters, and Jeff's expansive knowledge of the subject.




Jeff Smith, author of Alias Soapy Smith: The Life and Death of a Scoundrel, is the foremost recognized historian on descendant gambler, bunco artist, and all-around criminal. He has spoken to and for numerous organizations (click to see engagements).
